Never being fond of a squiggle
on a canvas, or a completely
black frame around a white
plate is not my idea of
creativity. Seeing through
the masses of what is
popular, I find my own tastes
revolving around the obscure
to color-crazy. The world is
full of art every second.
It is of our own decisions
to see it when it is occuring.
Capture the world in your mind.
As a young boy, I was not forced to conform as I could have been. Had my world's setting been placed in Middle America, or in some rural town in Bosnia, I am not sure I would have ended up with my views as is. Interesting, if you will, as a mind's eye could reflect more of what it has taken in than what it can create with it's own skill. As was my mind and eye coordination amongst developing what I saw as good and bad art and/or meaningful versus meaningless. I've never considered myself an experienced critic.

To the average human, many aspects of life can be quite boring. With my eye, I see things that may not be there for the average person. I've developed a sense of taking photos that don't make sense, until standing alone, and it'll be the downfall of me if I begin to fit the mould out of an instruction book.

(Above) At a very early age, I began to realize that my senses of reality isn't quite what "Johnny Nextdoor" sees. From then on, I took pen-in-hand, and never looked back. This particular drawing I named "Measure The Weight Of Time" (orig. 1988)
Above is "Night Velvet". Example of random photographic image. In particular this was a plant from my own personal collection. (orig. 2002)
